Video report / story on any newsworthy events, announcements and successes. Apporoximately 2 - 3 minutes. Designed to run within 8-12 hours of the conclusion of the event or announcement to keep the video timely. VNRs contribute significantly to a heightened online awareness of the organization.
The VNR consists of:
- Four hours of on-location video production
- Four hours of video editing to include voice over, music and some motion graphics
- Video compression so that the final video can play on a website (your own website, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
The VNR works best when centered around a specific event or newsworthy story happening in your organization or community. The VNR can support a written press release or take the place of a written release.
A video crew will come to the location, shoot footage of the event and conduct on-camera interviews with the key people. The organization will be responsible for writing the script used in the voice over of the VNR and, on the day of the event, provide a representative to interview identified VIPs. This representative will ask questions and hold the microphone; they will not appear on camera.
